Privacy Policy
Version 2026-10-26-v10 · Effective 26 October 2026
This notice describes personal data used for Astronizer, the personalized printed organizer and its web companion.
Who is responsible?
Astronizer is a personalized-organizer service operated from Amman, Jordan. Contact Astronizer about this service and its handling of your information using the privacy email below.
Privacy contact: hello@astronizer.com.
Data we use and why
- Personalization: your cover name, birth date and time, birth city and its resolved coordinates/time zone, home city, and purchased dates. We use these to calculate and produce your edition and its on-screen guidance.
- Order and delivery: checkout email, recipient name, delivery address and phone, selected shipping service, price, order reference, payment identifiers and order status. We use these for payment, printing, delivery, account access and support.
- Web companion: your saved notes, selected edition, and choices needed for the feature you use. Optional browser location detection asks for your permission; you can select a city instead.
- Account and security: sign-in/session data, necessary cookies, browser-held checkout drafts, and operational/security information such as request time and network address.
- Order confirmation: your recorded acceptance of the custom-order/refund policy, its version and checksum, the server time and a checksum linking it to the order details and total. This helps establish what you confirmed and handle support or disputes; it is separate from processing consent.
- Support: the messages and attachments you choose to send. Please avoid sending sensitive notes or additional birth details unless needed for your request.
Your details are used for individualized astrology calculations and interpretive readings. They are not used to make credit, employment, insurance or other eligibility decisions about you. The calculations do not establish scientifically verified predictions.
Free calendar notes and email copies
Notes in the free astrology calendar are saved in your own browser. They remain there until you clear the website’s browser data or remove the text. If you choose “Email my note,” we process the email address you enter, your note, the selected date and timezone, and your optional rising-sign choice to send the copy you requested through our configured Cloudflare email service. The email includes the date’s Moon details and reflection question. This does not create an account or subscribe you to marketing.
We do not save the note text or recipient email address in the calendar email delivery log. That log keeps a keyed fingerprint of the request, recipient and network address, its time and delivery state to limit misuse and duplicate sends. Entries older than 48 hours are removed when the service next processes a request. Email delivery providers may keep their own operational records. Avoid including information you would not want sent by email.
When processing starts
Before you continue from personalization, we show a link to this notice. Continuing with your email submits the selected name, birth date/time, birth city and home city for validation. Delivery quotations and order requests use these details again. We use the information to prepare the product and service you request, fulfil your order, provide account access and handle support. Choosing a city sends its search text to our city search; using browser location is optional and asks for permission. A detail-confirmation or purchase agreement is not a marketing opt-in. No marketing permission is bundled into checkout.
Who receives information?
| Provider | Purpose and data |
|---|---|
| Railway | Hosts the application, customer records, generated files and operational logs. The current application service is in Europe. |
| Microsoft Clarity | Optional, separately consented click, scroll and session-recording analytics on public discovery pages only. May process page URLs, browser and interaction data; birth details, checkout, account and organizer pages are excluded. |
| Supabase | Email sign-in, account identifiers and authentication/session processing. |
| PayPal | Payment and shipping details, purchase references and fraud/dispute handling. Payments are processed through PayPal. Astronizer does not store your full payment-card number. |
| Cloudflare R2, website and email infrastructure | Private completed-job archives in Cloudflare R2, including personalized PDFs, saved readings and the calculation/validation evidence supporting them. Working copies may be restored on Railway for authorized access. Private encrypted recovery snapshots also protect order, note, account-link and print records. Also website/domain infrastructure and delivery of sign-in or order messages, including recipient email and message content, and visitor-requested copies of calendar notes. |
| Lulu and its print/delivery partners | Production PDFs, which contain your personalized content, recipient address/phone and fulfilment information needed to print and deliver your order. |
These providers may process information in countries other than yours, including Europe and the United States. Your order requires hosting, account, payment, printing and delivery services; they receive the information needed for their roles. Payment providers may also handle records under their own privacy notices. Information may also be retained or disclosed where necessary to meet a legal requirement or handle a genuine dispute. We do not provide birth details, readings or private notes to advertising providers. Optional advertising measurement is described below.
Storage and security
We use HTTPS, account ownership checks, protected file access and access restrictions. Customer contact records, account tokens and saved notes are encrypted in the customer ledger. Generated PDFs, birth-data working files and some internal job data are not end-to-end encrypted and may be readable by authorized operators and necessary providers. No system can promise absolute security.
How long information is kept
We keep edition data, generated files and notes to provide purchased access and deal with order support. Account access ends with the purchased edition; that does not automatically erase stored files. Order and payment evidence may be needed for delivery, refunds, disputes, security and applicable record-keeping requirements. The retention decision depends on whether the order remains active or disputed and whether a record is still needed for these purposes. We do not currently operate a fixed automatic deletion schedule. You can request a review and deletion of information no longer needed using the contact below; we will explain any information that must be retained. Provider records and backups may have separate retention requirements. Recovery snapshots rotate separately and can contain earlier record versions until they expire or are processed as part of a verified deletion request.
Your requests and complaints
Contact hello@astronizer.com to request access, a copy, correction, restriction or deletion of your data, or to withdraw optional permission or raise a complaint. Use your checkout email and state the request. We verify ownership before releasing or changing personal information and explain any legal reason for retaining a record. We do not charge merely for making a privacy request. Some corrections cannot change a printed book already in production. Physical copies already printed or delivered cannot be remotely erased.
Cookies and browser storage
Necessary cookies support checkout and signed-in access. The account cookie can last up to 30 days; the checkout cookie up to one day; a sign-in return cookie up to one hour. Browser checkout drafts and pending-checkout references use session storage and are ignored after twelve hours; closing the tab or clearing its site data can also remove them. Signing out removes the active account cookie. Clear browser site data to remove a locally saved draft. A short-lived, secure confirmation cookie, lasting up to 30 minutes, connects a verified paid checkout to its confirmation page. It does not grant advertising permission. This notice does not authorize advertising cookies.
Optional analytics and advertising cookies
The free astrology calendar offers an optional Google Analytics visit-measurement choice. It does not run Microsoft Clarity or Meta Pixel. Calendar notes and email addresses are not included in analytics events.
Our homepage, free planetary-hours calculator and six public city-specific planetary-hours pages offer separate optional choices for Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity. Our homepage also offers a separate Meta advertising choice covering public visits and completed-purchase measurement. All three start unchecked for a new visitor. Earlier Google Analytics or Meta permission does not grant Clarity permission; we ask for a fresh choice. Saving one choice does not grant another. Necessary checkout and account functions work if you reject all three. Previously saved Google Analytics and Meta choices remain in effect unless changed.
If you allow analytics, Google may use browser identifiers and analytics cookies to measure public page visits and campaign sources. We limit page URLs sent to the public page path and recognized campaign tags, and referrers to their origins. Google advertising-personalization signals are disabled. Google may receive technical information such as IP address and browser details under Google’s privacy notice.
If you separately allow Microsoft Clarity, Microsoft may collect your public-page clicks, scrolling, interaction patterns, browser/device information, permitted page URLs and session replays to help us understand usability. Clarity is limited to the homepage, free calculator and the six public city-specific planetary-hours pages. On city pages, optional analytics and Clarity do not load when the URL includes query strings or fragments or the referrer is unsafe. Clarity also skips unsafe query strings and referrers on the main public pages and never runs on pages where birth details, checkout information, private readings or notes are entered or shown. We do not identify visitors in Clarity. Inputs are masked by default, but recording and URL data may still be personal information; see Microsoft's privacy statement. Clarity is loaded only after separate opt-in; withdrawing permission stops subsequent collection on our pages.
If you separately allow Meta advertising cookies, Meta Pixel records a homepage PageView. After a verified payment, it can also record a Purchase on a separate confirmation page, with the actual paid total, currency and an opaque event reference used to avoid duplicate counts. Meta may use browser identifiers, advertising cookies, campaign information and technical information such as IP address to measure visits and purchases and help personalize Facebook and Instagram ads. This can link your visit to your Meta account under Meta’s privacy notice. We disable automatic event configuration and do not supply customer identifiers for advanced matching. We do not send your name, email, delivery address, birth details, readings or notes through this integration. The confirmation page contains no customer details or payment-provider references in its URL.
Google Analytics and Clarity are not installed on personalization, checkout forms, account or private organizer pages. The separate payment-confirmation page uses only the optional Meta Purchase integration, not Google Analytics. Meta Pixel is also absent from the planetary-hours calculator and its six city-specific pages. We skip Meta tracking when the homepage URL contains unexpected query data or a private same-site referrer. Optional scripts do not load before their respective permission is given. Choices are saved in browser storage. Use Cookie choices on our homepage to change or withdraw permission; withdrawal stops future optional tracking and clears optional first-party analytics/advertising cookies. It does not erase information already received by providers. A browser Global Privacy Control signal keeps all three optional integrations off. Clearing site data also resets your choices.
Tracking, age and changes
We do not use birth details, readings or private notes for targeted advertising, or enable third-party advertising trackers on checkout forms. Optional Meta measurement of homepage visits and completed purchases requires the separate advertising choice described above. Our necessary checkout and account functions do not change in response to a browser Do Not Track signal. Payment and sign-in providers may collect information when you use their services.
The purchase flow is for adults aged 18 or older. Only enter your own birth details or those of another adult who has authorized you to provide them. Do not submit information about a child. Contact privacy support if child information was submitted so it can be investigated and removed where appropriate.
We publish changes here with an updated effective date. Material changes affecting existing users will be communicated through the website or their account email before the changed use begins, with a separate permission request where required.
